FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth bears witness to a planet in flux. We invite you to observe in another way. To think and feel in another time scale: geological time, seasonal time, tidal time. To contemplate change, and the pace of change. This is a space where your perspective might shift.

This show exhibits a selection of figurative bronzes, concentrating on animal-based sculpture; Next to this there is a selection of his more recent abstract, ‘biomorphic’ sculpture.

Working with the N&N Festival, celebrating the 200th anniversary of the RNLI, the exhibition reflects the young people’s response to core themes of the project, including land and water, past and present, and the liminal space of the coastline.

Julie Oxenforth works in sculpture with an added interest in surface and colour, so finds installation art an effective way to express herself. Often working site-specific, she considers the unique qualities of each exhibition space.

Mary’s paintings reflect upon the impermanence of life and the forces of nature.
