To coincide with Mark Davenant’s Outsiders exhibition, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive writing workshop we will explore ideas of home, safety, belonging and the many different ways we can be an outsider in life.

Much like a poet, a volunteer is a person who freely offers to undertake a task. To coincide with the Artspace Volunteers exhibition, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive workshop we will explore ideas of volunteering and what it means to freely undertake the task of writing poetry and being a poet.

To coincide with the Open Call Exhibition, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive writing workshop we will explore ideas of access, passage, unfolding and exposure in our work.

To mark autumn and the final session of the year, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive writing workshop we’ll explore endings, how we conclude a poem and how we redraft & ‘finish’ our work.
