Location
The nearest car park is the Runton Road car park. Disabled parking is at the bottom of the Melbourne slope (the gallery is fully accessible).

Travel by bus
From the bus station head towards the sea; from the clifftop head to the promenade and turn left.
The nearest bus stop in on Runton Road; from the bus stop head for the clifftop and take the zig-zag slope down to the Promenade, once on the promenade turn left and you’ll find us.
Travel by Train
The train station is found next to the Morrison’s supermarket. From the train head downhill towards the town, and turn left to head to the clifftop. Once on the clifftop with take the ‘white steps’ or the zig-zag slope down to the Promenade, once on the promenade turn left and you’ll find us.
Travel by car
The nearest car park is the large (pay and display) car park on Runton Road, From the car park head for the clifftop and take the zig-zag slope down to the Promenade, once on the promenade turn left and you’ll find us.
Disabled access
There is level access to Artspace on the Prom, but from the cliff top there is quite a slope to get to the promenade. The best option is to use the disabled parking on the promenade (at the bottom of the Melbourne Slope – access next to Morrison’s garage and No.1) from where there is level access (about 100m) to us.
Artspace on the Prom is an iconic building with a superb location which attracts a high calibre of nationally and internationally recognised artists, of interest throughout the region.
The building’s distinctive façade captures the essence of 1930s design, with clean geometric lines and curved corners reflecting the golden light of the Norfolk coast.

Events at Artspace on the Prom

Rewriting
In this day-long poetry retreat at Cromer Artspace, bring along poems in progress and learn tools and techniques to help you re-see and redraft your writing. The day will consist of group discussions of poems, writing exercises and there will be opportunities to read aloud your work and receive both peer and tutor feedback.

Go with the Flow
Explore ways to build layers and use Intentional camera movement to create experimental images.

Legacy
Over the last 10 years Brenda and Sarah have worked on a series of collaborative projects which have been exhibited nationally and internationally. Through discussion they develop and combine their skills in two and three dimensions.

Colourful Souls
This exhibition features works by artists working in a range of creative disciplines at the Barrington Farm supported art studio in Walcott, linked by a focus on colour.

Secret Postcard Sale
Cromer Artspace Secret Postcard Sale is a fundraising event, particularly appropriate for a seaside town featuring beautiful postcard-sized mini masterpieces created by the best local artists around, along with a few big names too.

Dangerous Portraits
A presentation of photographic portraits taken in the street, in bars and finally in churches.

Cross Currents
This exhibition brings together a group of artists working nationally and internationally who use lens-based practices to capture imagined, provocative or simply unexpected encounters with water.

To coincide with a photography exhibition, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive writing workshop we’ll explore imagery, metaphors and showing not telling in our poetry.
