Volunteer with us
Cromer Artspace is run entirely by volunteers and there are many ways you can get involved. You don’t need to be an artist to join us, you just need to be interested in art and arts activities and be willing and able to commit some time.
If you volunteer with us you can expect
- a clear role description
- information and training in relation to your role
- regular updates through the volunteers newsletter
- Volunteer Get Togethers
- opportunities to feedback your views and experiences of volunteering with Cromer Artspace
- a process to resolve any problems that may occur during your volunteering with us
You can find details of some volunteer roles below, but if none of these appeal to you and you have skills, knowledge, experience or enthusiasm that you think might be useful, do please get in touch.
- Exhibition Supporter – Support the smooth running of Cromer Artspace exhibitions, ensuring a warm welcome, a positive experience and a safe, secure environment for visitors and the artworks.
- Practical tasks such as painting, cleaning, setting up and taking down shows and events
- Administration – helping us to ensure the smooth running of the charity e.g. by taking minutes at meetings, helping produce documents
- Helping with marketing and promoting what we do
- Fundraising and grant applications
