In this workshop we will learn how to write characters that come alive on the page.
Using portraits from the Bigger Picture project, loaned from The National Gallery, as a prompt, this workshop will follow stages of discussion and writing exercises, to explore how to write characters that readers can fall in love with.
Ben Cartwright is a writer based in North Norfolk. He won a place on the Escalator Talent Development Scheme at the National Centre for Writing with his first novel. Ben is an enthusiastic and informative teacher, and this workshop is bound to be a lot of fun.
