We have brought together work by artists from our region and beyond, showing some ways of using drawing and some of the ways that artists think.
This event is running from 16 May 2024 until 3 June 2024.
Many artists use drawing as a means of thinking things through. That may be an end in itself or a way of developing other work. Drawing may be figurative or abstract, gestural or precise, emotional or philosophical; perhaps all or none of these. Drawing may involve a whole variety of tools and media. Thinking may involve a whole variety of approaches.
