Creative writing workshop led by Ben Cartwright
In this friendly writing workshop, we will take inspiration from the exhibition Strand by Sheila Robinson, to create a short piece of work set on Cromer beach. Through a series of guided exercises, we will explore character and story, and work towards writing a scene that will open the door onto a longer story. For two hours, we will have the Art Deco gallery to ourselves, right on the beach front. Ben Cartwright is a writer based in North Norfolk. He won a place on the Escalator Talent Development Scheme at the National Centre for Writing with his first novel. He is an enthusiastic and informative teacher, and this workshop is bound to be a lot of fun.
When: 1630-1830, Friday 26th August.
