Landscape and still life have been common tropes for artists for centuries, and are still being exploited through social media, the food images and selfies against exotic backdrops that flood our feeds.
Cromer Artspace has been created to encourage arts in public spaces and develop community involvement in the arts. We aim to enable projects which increase accessibility and audience engagement, support local businesses and help the arts to become valued as a vital part of local life and leisure.
The Cromer sea defence works are starting up this week (from Monday 20th May) with the delivery of some very large machinery.

From October 20th to 30th there will be an exhibition on the theme of Now, Then and What Next at Artspace on the Prom. You will have seen the Open Call to artists. Please do spread the word.
