About Cromer Artspace
Cromer Artspace’s aim is to help the arts in Cromer to grow, develop and involve more people from across the community. Fundamentally we believe art should be accessible to everybody.
We’re a charity, run by volunteers. We put amazing art around the town – on walls where you’d least expect it – and in Artspace on the Prom.
The connection between creativity and culture and health and wellbeing has a long history; our community surveys highlight this. Cromer Artspace aims to fill the gap between the opportunities available in big cities and its rural coastal location, helping the community to address health and well-being and to inspire people to extend their horizons and enjoy the arts.

ETHOS
We’re a small dedicated group of volunteers with a focus on bringing the best art to Cromer. We work within an ethos which describes our approach and priorities.
Our Focus
Our focus in on Visual Art. We have focussed on that as a result of our 2021 and 2024 surveys, and to give our small team space to develop.
THE TEAM
We have 4 trustees, a set of project teams and a great band of volunteers who help look after Artspace on the Prom.
OUR POLICIES
To help us deliver our objectives in a safe and consistent manner we work within a set of policies which are regularly reviewed.
The Bigger Picture

- One way we have achieved our goal is via a unique partnership with the National Gallery, London that saw reproductions of works of art from their collection displayed on buildings around Cromer with easy access and free for all to enjoy, bringing art out of galleries into the community for people who wouldn’t normally be exposed to such experiences.
- We are now working with the National Galleries of Scotland and have 20 reproductions from their collection around the streets of Cromer
