Artists information
Cromer Artspace is focussed on artists. We aim to contribute to the development of art practice and theory, to exhibit world class, varied and innovative contemporary art and to be recognised regionally and nationally.

As an artist you may wish to exhibit at Artspace on the Prom. You could hire the space to show your work. Details of how to submit are at cromer-artspace.uk/….hire-cromer-artspace-on-the-prom; We have a different independent selection panel each year and finalise the programme 12-18 months in advance.
We aim to run at least one funded curated show each year. If you wish to curate or have ideas to discuss, email us at
We also have Open Calls at least twice a year, such as Print Cromer and Cromer Open, with different independent selection panels for each show.
Residencies
You could also hire the space to develop your work, as an individual or with others, between November and March. Hiring the space for a residency currently costs £250 a week (November 2025 to March 2026).
You are most welcome to visit the space and to discuss your ideas with a member of the Cromer Artspace Programming Team.
You will need to send a proposal explaining how you aim to use the space including links to your website/social media and relevant images.
The Programming team meet monthly and will discuss applications as they are received.

Bursaries
Cromer Artspace is keen to support emerging artists and those with restricted access to opportunities. We have a Bursary Fund and run a programme each year offering studio space, exhibition opportunities and mentoring. Please contact us if you would like to be involved in any way with this.
