The day will consist of group discussions of poems, writing exercises and there will be opportunities to read aloud your work and receive both peer and tutor feedback.

The workshop will be led by local writer & teacher James McDermott. James’s poetry collections include ‘Father Myself’ (Nine Arches Press), ‘Wild Life’ (Nine Arches Press; shortlisted for the East Anglian Book Award 2023) and ‘Manatomy’ (Burning Eye Books). James is an Arvon writing tutor and lecturer in creative writing at UEA.
