In conjunction with the Cromer Society, we are pleased to present a range of talks inspired by the Bigger picture exhibition.
Venue: Suffield Park Bowls Clubhouse, Station Road, Cromer, NR27 0DY
Each talk will look at different aspects of the pictures and encourage the audience to think about and look at art in different ways. The talks include
- Ellie Baker with an insight into the artworks from the National Galleries of Scotland
- Chris Emery, Collision, Encounter and meditation: viewing art from a poet’s perspective
- Eddie Anderson, how Landseer has influenced his life
- Sarah Ballard, an informal talk about how the art has been interpreted by the Barrington Farm art team
- Chris Bailkoski, a look behind Francis Picabia’s Sotileza
- Maria Pavledis, focussing on female print makers
