This summer, hundreds of postcard‑sized artworks left Cromer and set off on new adventures – finding homes everywhere from Aberdeen to Gloucestershire, and even as far as Switzerland. Each one began life as a donation from an artist who wanted to support Cromer Artspace and the work we do on the coast.
Nearly 400 artists contributed original pieces, creating one of our most joyful and varied exhibitions yet. Over 3,000 visitors came through the doors of Artspace on the Prom to see the collection: families on holiday, day‑trippers from across England and Scotland, and plenty of local supporters who return year after year.
The sale of these tiny artworks raised £6,700 towards our running costs – a vital boost that helps us keep exhibitions free, support residencies, run workshops and continue building a vibrant creative community in North Norfolk.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who made it happen: the artists who donated, the visitors who came, the volunteers who kept everything running smoothly, and the buyers who gave each postcard a new home.
