Many sculptors make drawings and maquettes as a way of thinking about their work and planning for production on a larger scale. These are often fascinating works of art in themselves. Running parallel to the outside exhibition at the Grove, we have an exhibition at Artspace on the Prom of sculptors’ drawings and maquettes, as well as some smaller works and pieces that are not suitable for outdoor exhibition. These pieces are from invited artists and extend the range of 3D work to be seen in Cromer this summer.
The exhibition includes works from Keron Beattie, Jim Brown, Eva Rothschild, Peter Randall- Page, Jane Scobie. Helen Ireland, Rachael Long, Laurence Edwards, Esther Boehm, Stephanie Gilbert, Richard Berry, Carl Durban, Kate Munro, Graham High and Stephen Cox.
