To coincide with an exhibition of works made in memory of artist Derrick Greaves, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive writing workshop we’ll explore memory, memories and the art of memorialising in poetry.
The workshop will be led by local writer & teacher James McDermott. James’s poetry collections include ‘Father Myself’ (Nine Arches Press), ‘Wild Life’ (Nine Arches Press; shortlisted for the East Anglian Book Award 2023) and ‘Manatomy’ (Burning Eye Books). James is an Arvon writing tutor and lecturer in creative writing at UEA.
