Watercolour, gouache, oil, egg tempera, poster, acrylic, encaustic, enamel, spray… applied with brush, palette knife, hands… dripped, splashed, layered…
This exhibition focusses on paint as a medium and the processes of painting.
It includes painters working in a range of styles and for a variety of purposes from our region and beyond.

The exhibition brings together work by Craig Barber, Helen Blake, Claire Cansick, Gordon Dalton, Caroline Forward, David Gledhill, Barbara Howey, Laurie Mason, Malca Schotten, Emma Stibbon and Molly Thomson -artists whose approaches to paint are as varied as their subjects.

Emma Stibbon’s Berg, Weddell Sea, Antarctica II (above) is among the highlights.
