FRAMERATE: Pulse of the Earth bears witness to a planet in flux. We invite you to observe in another way. To think and feel in another time scale: geological time, seasonal time, tidal time. To contemplate change, and the pace of change. This is a space where your perspective might shift.
Pioneering artists ScanLAB Projects’ immersive installation has screened at the Venice Biennale, SXSW, BFI London Film Festival, Tribeca Festival, Taiwan Creative Content Festival, and at the PHI Centre in Montreal and Elektron in Luxembourg; the installation is now touring the UK with support from Arts Council England.
Free workshops on 3D scanning and its implications for art, science and technology will be running alongside the exhibition; all are welcome.
