Event Details

A series of 3 sessions focusing on the work of women printmakers (building on the successful Tilted Women’s Sessions at Norwich Arts Centre) .  There are 3 sessions

Bite
–  focussing on etching and  looking at artists including Paula Rego and Kara Walker

Scratch
 – Drypoint and Monoprint – including Ana Maria Pacheco, Kathe Kollwitz and Tracey Emin

Resist – Print activism –  Corita Kent , and Artist Collectives Guerilla Girls, See Red and Jillposters

As well as looking at work, the sessions will have a hands-on Creative Element, so participants can learn about the different print techniques and get a flavour of each process.

Led by Artist and Librarian Maria Pavledis.  Maria studied MA printmaking at Camberwell and is a widely known etcher, printmaker and teacher of printmaking.

This is a ‘pay what you can’ event with suggested priced tickets.
