A conversation with Fiona Roberts
Event Details
Fiona Roberts is a practice‑based researcher and artist whose work digs deep into the textures of material memory and embodied knowledge. She explores how experiences are passed between generations, focusing especially on the often overlooked interior lives of working‑class women, their gestures, labour, domestic rituals and quiet forms of resilience.
Her practice sits at the intersection of arts practice, social history, and critical theory, weaving together research and making to reveal stories that are frequently hidden in plain sight. Through this lens, Fiona creates work that is both intimate and political, inviting viewers to consider how memory lives in materials, bodies and everyday spaces.
