Event Details
Arcs, and arches seem to appear frequently in the work of the artdepotnr3 collective and connote a variety of themes. The most overt of these is the arch as portal, as a gateway to another place. There is the obvious reference of an entrance to the sacred, or holy space, where there are opportunities to focus on things a little differently.
The arc is also a symbol of strength and longevity, this is at the very heart of the artdepot collective.
Members of the collective come from a range of backgrounds working in a multitude of media including painting, drawing, textiles, print, sculpture, text and book arts.
