Cromer Artspace is pleased to announce that Cromer Open 2026Cromer Open 2026 is now open for submissions; this year’s theme, Beyond the Frame, invites artists everywhere to think boldly, play freely and push past the expected.
Running alongside our national symposium on 21 October, this year’s Open celebrates the artists who stretch imagination, challenge conventions and reveal new perspectives. Whether you work in paint, photography, sculpture, digital media, installation, sound or something entirely unclassifiable, we want to see how you explore what lies beyond the frame, literally, metaphorically or conceptually.
Now in its sixth year, the Cromer Open attracts hundreds of visitors from across East Anglia and beyond, and showcases work from emerging artists, established practitioners and those whose voices deserve wider attention. Selected work will be seen not only by the public but also by symposium delegates, curators and national partners.
