Treasures of the Museum

This session will feature a multitude of objects from all ten of Norfolk Museums Service museum collections (including Cromer Museum). Using the objects as a starting point, the aim is to explore how museums can develop collections in collaboration with local communities. Detailing how we have accumulated our historic collections and exploring how we can democratise collecting practices in future, to enable local people a greater say in what their museums collect.
