To coincide with the Pulse Of The Earth Exhibition, through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive writing workshop we will explore different ways we can write about the climate emergency in our poetry.

This workshop will be led by local writer and teacher James McDermott. James’s poetry collections include ‘Father Myself’ (Nine Arches Press), ‘Wild Life’ (Nine Arches Press; shortlisted for The East Anglian Book Award 2023) and ‘Manatomy’ (Burning Eye Books.) James is an Arvon writing tutor and lecturer in creative writing at UEA.
