Through a series of writing exercises and group discussions of poems, in this interactive writing workshop we explore how lists in poems can be used to express inundation, fragmentation, uncertainty, echo, incantation and so much more!

This workshop will be led by local writer and teacher James McDermott. James’s poetry collections include ‘Father Myself’ (Nine Arches Press), ‘Wild Life’ (Nine Arches Press; shortlisted for The East Anglian Book Award 2023) and ‘Manatomy’ (Burning Eye Books.) James is an Arvon writing tutor and lecturer in creative writing at UEA.
