A short film follows the sculptor Laurence Edwards over four years, from back of an envelope drawings through the creation and final installation of a 10 tonne bronze man on the A12 in Suffolk. Followed by a Q and A with Laurence.


 


Phil Caimey, film director, follows sculptor Laurence Edwards as he takes on the biggest challenge of his career; to create and cast a 26ft high bronze colossus to be sited on the A12 in Suffolk.

The film follows the sculptor over four years, from back of an envelope drawings to the final installation of a 10 tonne bronze man! The writer Robert Macfarlane and Edwards eventually find themselves at the Yoxman’s feet and try to make sense of it all.

The film screening, lasting 25 minutes, will be followed with a Q and A with Laurence.
