Artspace on the Prom Plaque Appeal

Become part of the story

Cromer Artspace is an exciting project, already bringing art and opportunities for creativity to residents and visitors in Cromer, in a wide variety of ways.

The art deco building on the west promenade in Cromer was built in the 1930s, but has lain empty for nine years.

Cromer Artspace are working with NNDC to start a new chapter in the life of the building as an art gallery, and need your help. The building urgently needs improved access, heating, insulation and lighting along with a myriad of other renovations. As you’d expect, these all cost – we’re looking at a total cost of over £100,000.

We are seeking grant contributions , but also need your help. This is your chance to become part of the story of this amazing building. To recognise your help, for every donation of £100 or more, we will install a stainless steel plaque on the new access ramp wall.

Your plaque could celebrate a birth or an anniversary; an individual, business or group; recall a loved one or happy days in Cromer; or a few lines of a favourite poem or song, or “just because”…

Thank you; a gift from you, small or large, can help to make more things happen in the arts, here in Cromer.
